Ahead of the event, the Miami-Dade community had the opportunity to support the charitable endeavor through various activities, including by purchasing tickets to dedicated events, and making purchases at select retail partners such as Chick-fil-A, Five Guys, Sushi Maki, Vicky Bakery, and more.

“Proceeds from the campaign’s efforts will help support Jackson in providing the most advanced treatments, innovative technology, and cutting-edge facilities to give patients their lives back,” the news release stated.

“By supporting Jackson you are investing in the health and well-being of our entire community,” said Flavia Llizo, CEO of Jackson Health Foundation. “Your generosity helps ensure that world-class healthcare remains accessible to all Miami-Dade County residents, regardless of their ability to pay. Every dollar makes a meaningful impact in transforming lives and strengthening our community.”

Last year, the campaign raised more than $550,000, and the goal for this year is to reach $1 million.
