JUPITER, Fla. ā Three people were killed when an Amtrak passenger train collided with a vehicle Saturday afternoon in Jupiter.
The crash took place about 2 p.m. near the 1800 block of Beeline Highway at the entrance to the J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area.
Palm Beach County Sheriffās Office deputies told WPBF, the ABC affiliate in Palm Beach County, that the vehicle was turning into the J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area and didnāt yield to the oncoming train.
Deputies said all three people -- believed to be a woman and two children -- in the vehicle were killed.
The train was reportedly traveling from Miami to New York.
No injuries to any train passengers have been reported.
