ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers in Florida will have beaver nuggets and brisket sandwiches to look forward to during their next gas stop.
A fourth Buc-ee’s is coming to Florida.
County records show a Buc-ee’s development is in the works in North St. Lucie County, off of I-95 and Indrio Road.
If approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission, the location would be the fourth in the Sunshine State.
Last April, Governor Ron DeSantis awarded $4 million to the Florida Department of Transportation to add a new interchange on I-75 in Marion County. The interchange in Ocala is another planned Buc-ee’s site.
It will have an 80,000-square foot travel center, 120 fuel pumps and more than 720 parking spots.
The project is also expected to bring at least 1,500 new jobs to the state.
The other Buc-ee’s locations in Florida are in St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.
