'Absolute dinosaur' of a gator seen on path near Florida school

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A gator spotted in one Florida neighborhood was so big, deputies called it an “absolute dinosaur.”

The giant gator was seen walking along a path that children often take to a nearby Pinellas County school.

Several trappers tried to shoo it away with no luck, so Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission trappers were called in for help.

Trappers and deputies finally captured the 12-foot-long gator, and it took four men to load it onto a pickup truck and relocate it to a safer spot.
