Florida woman faces charges for allegedly threatening health insurance company

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Lakeland woman is facing charges after she was accused of threatening her health insurance company with a phrase linked to the United Healthcare CEO killer.

Briana Boston, 42, was denied a medical claim with Blue Cross Blue Shield and prosecutors said she ended a phone call with the insurance provider with the phrase “delay, deny, depose,” following the quote by saying “you people are next.”

“Delay, deny, depose” are the words that were found on bullet shell casings authorities found after they said Luigi Mangione shot and killed United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
