Brightline is changing the way it prices packages for commuters and those changes are right around the corner.

Currently South Florida riders can buy 40 one-way tickets for a flat rate of just under $400 if they are traveling anywhere between Miami and West Palm Beach.

Beginning on June 1, the high-speed railway company will offer a package deal to commuters which would include 10 tickets plus and an additional 10 free tickets. 20 in total.

After the riders cash in on the deal, a package of 40 tickets will cost $1,400. A thousand-dollar increase.

According to Brightline’s website, specials are still available for educators and students wanting to commute on the high-speed railway.

In the last year, the privately owned company has added several stops on its route from South Florida to Orlando, including the recent announcement of new stop in Brevard County.

The high-speed rail company celebrated its inaugural launch for its Miami to Orlando route in Sept. 2023.

The route facilitates travel from Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach to Orlando.

Tickets for Smart service to Orlando are expected to stay at the starting price of $79 and Premium seating pricing begins at $149. Children’s tickets are $39.
