Red Lobster may be closing more of its South Florida locations as part of its bankruptcy plan.
The Red Lobster in Hialeah quietly closed its doors in May.

These changes come as the national seafood restaurant chain considered filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy to ease financial pressure, according to a report in April.
The national seafood restaurant chain said that it had more than $1 billion in debt. Part of its plan is to close some locations of its nearly 600 restaurants in the meantime.
Owners are being advised by lawyers to consider the filing, to put a debt reduction plan into motion according to a report by Bloomberg.
The following locations may close in the coming weeks:
- 2000 University Dr., Coral Springs
- 5950 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale
- 11550 SW 88th St., Miami
- 13300 Biscayne Blvd., North Miami
- 2201 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., West Palm Beach
The restaurant was founded more than 50 years ago by Bill Darden and Charley Woodsby.
Its parent company is currently the Thai Union Group.
