FORT LAUDERDALE BEACH, Fla. – Chef Anthony Vitolo and Rob Crosoli recently launched a new lunch menu at the spacious family-style Italian-American culinary haven in Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Vitolo, at 551 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, opens at noon. The handcrafted pizzas are made with freshly imported ingredients from the Vitolo family farm in Sarno, Italy.
“Food is love to me, so that’s what you get when you come here,” Vitolo said.
The menu includes mozzarella en carrozza, made with breaded crispy mozzarella served with marinara sauce; linguine alla vongole, and linguini with fresh top neck clams, olive oil, and garlic. It also features The Vitello Antonio, a veal chop, thin Panko crusted with vodka sauce, sweet peas, crispy prosciutto, and fresh mozzarella.
“We came together to do something a little more family-oriented,” Crosoli said.
The restaurant’s areas include the Salo Arco, the Cucina, and the Terrazza, an outdoor area with a beachside view. Crosoli said his favorite room in the restaurant is “The Library.”
Happy hour is Vitolo’s Aperitivo from 4 to 6 p.m., serves Birra Moretti, Emilio’s Manhattan, Mulberry Street Margarita, an assortment of wines, and more. The restaurant is open every day from 12 to 10 p.m.
