PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Dave’s Hot Chicken is expanding and will be opening this Friday in Pembroke Pines.
The chicken chain, with notable celebrity investors including Drake, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Strahan will open a location at the Westfork Plaza at 15855 Pines Blvd.

According to a media release, the restaurant officially opens on Friday, August 2 and will be open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday – Saturday 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
According to the company’s website, the expanding chain opened its first location in Los Angeles.
Dave’s Hot Chicken specializes in jumbo Hot Chicken Tenders and Sliders, along with sides of house-made Kale Slaw, creamy Mac n’ Cheese and crispy, seasoned French Fries.
There are more than 700 locations currently open in major DMAs across the US, including Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Detroit, Toronto, Portland, and Milwaukee. The brand also has locations in Dubai and Canada.
Dave’s will be neighbors with the new Chick-fil-A that opened up in April at the former Sweet Tomatoes location along Pines Blvd. and Dykes Road.
