South Florida animal rescue organization saves pets from euthanasia list

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Local 10′s animal advocate Jacey Birch spoke about the efforts Monday of Anything’s Pawsible Rescue, a local organization dedicated to saving dogs from euthanasia and finding them loving homes.

Birch introduced viewers to two dogs who are currently looking for forever families: Spot, a friendly dog good with animals, cats, and people, and Bolo, a resilient pup who recently recovered from spine surgery.

Birch praised the rescue’s mission, saying, “I’m impressed by how you pull animals directly from the euthanasia list. Can you tell us more about that process?”

Joseph Palermo from Anything’s Pawsible Rescue said that the organization selects animals from the euthanasia list provided by local shelters, helping to save them from being put down.

“We receive a list from the shelter and take in most of the dogs from there,” he said.

Birch commended the rescue’s life-saving efforts and encouraged viewers to consider adoption.

“You’re saving lives every day!” she said. “Right now, they have about 40 dogs available. Even if Spot or Bolo are adopted, you can find other dogs in need at Anything’s Pawsible Rescue.
