Police search for missing, endangered woman last seen in Miramar

MIRAMAR, Fla. – The Miramar Police Department asked for the public’s help Wednesday in locating a 62-year-old woman who they said was reported missing and endangered.

According to detectives, Althea Silvera was last seen near her residence at around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Silvera is 5 feet, weighs around 215 pounds, and was last seen wearing a red/ orange floral dress and some type of blue headwear, investigators said.

Police also said Silvera often visits McDonald’s, Chase Bank and Key Foods between the 6200 and 6800 blocks of Miramar Parkway.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call the MPD at 954-602-4252.
