Wilton Manors police trying to find missing man with dementia

WILTON MANORS, Fla. – Wilton Manors police asked for the public’s help Wednesday locating a missing 67-year-old man with dementia.

They say Robert Collado is in danger. Police said that hes believed to have wandered off from his home at 51 NE 24th St. sometime between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday, while his daughter was sleeping. He left his cell phone and wallet behind.

He’s described as 5-foot-5 and 135 pounds, with salt/pepper hair and a full salt/pepper beard, and was last seen wearing a pink polo shirt and black shoes.

Authorities said Collado’s primary language is Spanish and he does not know how to swim.

Anyone who believes they see Collado is asked to call 911.
