BSO: 3 injured in Dania Beach shooting

DANIA BEACH, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left three people injured Thursday night.

According to BSO spokeswoman Miranda Grossman, the shooting was reported at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of Southeast 10th Avenue and Southeast Fourth Avenue.

She said deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue personnel responded to the scene and found two males who were suffering from gunshot wounds.

Paramedics transported both to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries that are not expected to be life-threatening.

While canvassing the area, deputies were notified that a third person injured in the shooting had shown up to a hospital.

One person, identified as 19-year-old Terrence Lee, was taken into custody, authorities confirmed.

BSO’s Robbery and Crime Scene units are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
