‘My friend died’: Miramar police release 911 calls, ID victim in Dunkin’ parking lot shooting

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Authorities have released the identity of the man killed in a double shooting in a Dunkin’ parking lot in Miramar and have released 911 calls from the scene.

The shooting happened Tuesday morning at the chain’s location at 6190 Miramar Parkway.

Authorities said Kaven Flynn, 34, was killed, while another man was injured.

That man was heard in the 911 recordings.

“I got shot, I got shot,” the man says, later telling the dispatcher, “My friend died.”

The surviving victim was reportedly in stable condition at an area hospital.

The circumstances leading to the shooting remain under investigation, police said. Authorities haven’t released suspect information.
