MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Multiple people were detained Friday morning during some kind of FBI investigation in Miami Gardens.
Sky 10 was above a home in the area of Northwest 28th Place and 159th Street at about 6:45 a.m. as multiple men were placed in handcuffs. A SWAT truck could be seen parked nearby, along with multiple other law enforcement vehicles.

Miami Gardens police, Homeland Security officers and FBI agents were at the scene, however a spokesperson for the Miami Gardens Police Department confirmed that the law enforcement activity pertained to an FBI investigation.
Local 10 later learned that Miami Gardens police helped to block off the roadway but were not assisting in the investigation.
A woman who lives nearby told Local 10 News that she heard four loud bangs and saw a man being placed into handcuffs. She also said three women came out of the house as well, after hearing some commands in Spanish from the FBI over loudspeakers to come out of the house.
Further details about the investigation were not immediately released. A spokesperson for HSI Miami said they “can’t comment at this time.”
A spokesman for the FBI would only confirm that the “FBI is conducting court ordered law enforcement activity in the vicinity of that location. There is no threat to public safety.”
