Car, ambulance collide in Pembroke Pines; no serious injuries

Leads to power outage

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Fire rescue personnel responded to a car crash on Friday in Broward County’s Pines Boulevard and Flamingo Road intersection in Pembroke Pines.

The crash involved a car and an ambulance. Both a driver and a firefighter were taken to the hospital but weren’t seriously hurt.

The crash led to a power outage in the area, leading to backups with traffic lights out.
