Estevez was arrested, pleaded guilty, and sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to pay about $505,000 in restitution in 2005. Zamora vanished, and federal agents suspect the 64-year-old transgender woman known as “Ana” could be hiding either in Central or South America.

They asked anyone with information about Zamora’s whereabouts to call the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General’s Fugitive Hotline at 1-888-476-4453.
