MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A fourth person connected to a decade-long sex trafficking operation involving three wealthy brothers with ties to Miami Beach and New York’s luxury real estate is expected to surrender to authorities in Miami-Dade on Wednesday.
Ohad Fisherman, a family friend of Oren, Alon and Tal Alexander, faces charges of sexual battery and sexual battery by multiple perpetrators in connection with a 2016 New Year’s Eve incident involving Oren and Alon, who are twins.
Fisherman, who was reportedly on his honeymoon in Japan last week when the brothers were arrested, is set to be arraigned on state charges in Miami-Dade court Wednesday. Fisherman is accused of participating in a gang rape, according to authorities.
Court documents obtained by Local 10 News allege that Fisherman held the victim down while Oren and Alon Alexander took turns assaulting her.
The Alexander brothers, including Oren and Alon, both 37, face federal charges of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. The alleged crimes date back to 2010 and involve evidence such as text messages, videos, photos, and testimony from about 40 women, according to FBI Special Agent Justine Atwood.
Investigators allege three separate assaults took place in Florida between December 2016 and October 2021, each involving a different victim. The charges against the Alexanders have drawn widespread attention due to their prominence in the real estate and security industries.
Oren and Tal Alexander founded Official, a luxury real estate firm with offices in Manhattan and Miami Beach.
The Alexander twins appeared in Miami state court last Friday, where they were granted bail before being transferred to federal custody.
Local 10 News has also learned that Tal Alexander has hired Howard Srebnick, a high-profile Miami defense attorney, to lead his defense.
Srebnick is known for representing prominent clients, including Jeffrey Epstein and Justin Bieber, and his involvement signals an aggressive strategy as Alexander’s legal team challenges his detention.
Oren and Alon Alexander remain in custody at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center as their state court hearing, originally scheduled for Monday, was postponed to Thursday, their attorney Joel Denaro confirmed to Local 10 News.
The Alexander brothers’ first federal court appearance has not yet been scheduled, but they will be transported by U.S. Marshals for a pre-trial detention hearing.
