FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A woman wanted for a hit-and-run crash that nearly killed a man is now facing charges.
Officers booked Tydaijah Murray, 29, at the Broward Detention Center on Thursday.
She is accused of hitting and leaving a popular Boca Raton hairstylist in serious condition back on August 11 in Fort Lauderdale.
The victim, Eugene Arsirii, is still recovering from his life altering injuries.
He was heading home after a workout just before midnight and spotted a driver who ran out of gas along the 2300 block of Northwest Sixth Avenue.
It was while Arsirii was helping push the disabled car off the road when police said Murray plowed into them and took off on foot.
“It has been a constant flow of surgeries ever since the day of the accident,” Arsirii told Local 10 News last week.
Police had been unable to track down Murray, who was behind the wheel on a suspended license.
She is expected to make her first court appearance on Friday.
