MIAMI – A teenage boy was hospitalized after someone he knew stabbed him late Friday night in Miami’s Model City neighborhood, police said.

According to Kiara Delva, a spokeswoman for the Miami Police Department, the stabbing was near Northwest Sixth Court and 61 Street and the victim was getting treatment at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Delva reported Miami homicide detectives questioned “a female” who said she knew the victim and the investigation into the stabbing continued Saturday afternoon.
