OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – Authorities are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night in Oakland Park, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the crash happened near Northwest 38th Street and Northwest Ninth Avenue, where a driver struck a pedestrian walking in the roadway and then fled the scene.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, according to detectives.
Investigators believe the suspect was driving a light blue 2005-2009 Land Rover Sport SUV with damage to the passenger-side bumper, headlight, and hood.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
