Judge denies murder suspect bond

MIRAMAR, Fla. – A man was behind bars Tuesday accused of a murder at a store that was open for customers in Broward County.

According to the Miramar Police Department, Jaime Taylor pulled out a gun and shot Anthony Souvenir on Monday at the Walgreens at 2499 SW 101 Ave., in Miramar.

Miramar Police Chief Delrish Moss said several customers, including children, witnessed the shooting. Souvenir, 27, died at the hospital, police said.

Taylor, 28, appeared Tuesday in bond court and the judge learned that he surrendered after fleeing briefly and denied him bond.

Taylor was at the Broward main jail in Fort Lauderdale. He faced a second-degree murder charge.
