Pentilla was a substitute teacher for Palm Beach County Schools.
Deputies said Pentilla provided an admission of guilt and told officers “You wanted to know why I would look at something like that, it’s because I am curious about it. It’s just curiosity and wondering what the, uh, what’s what people are doing.”
Palm Beach Sheriff’s deputies began their investigation into Pentilla after receiving information form the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in August of 2023 when he allegedly uploaded his first image involving child sexual abuse material.
Pentilla was being held at the Palm Beach County jail on $10,000 bond.
