It happened just after 3 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Northwest 103rd Street and Northwest 2nd Court in Miami-Dade County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, this all started after a trooper noticed a vehicle driving erratically as it was exiting Interstate 95.

When that trooper attempted to make a traffic stop, the driver took off and eventually crashed outside a home.

Home surveillance video captured the ending of the incident.

In the video, a man identified by authorities as 41-year-old Antwan David Lawson is seen exiting the vehicle in an attempt to outrun police.

Photos taken by neighbors show the black Nissan Maxima that Lawson allegedly crashed into the home’s yard.

Lawson is seen in the video jumping fences while attempting to evade deputies.

After setting up a perimeter, Miami-Dade sheriff’s deputies found the man and arrested him.

Lawson now faces six felony charges related to the incident.

Deputies say he was driving with a suspended license and had six prior convictions for the same offense.

Those charges include fleeing and eluding police, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of a crash.

The homeowners were seen cleaning up the mess Sunday afternoon, thankful that nobody was in the yard when the car came barreling through.
