State Department issues Turks and Caicos travel advisory

The U.S. State Department issued a travel advisory for Turks and Caicos Islands.

The State Department warned about crime in Providenciales, the main island in the archipelago.

The Level 2 travel advisory asked travelers to “exercise increased caution” and avoid walking alone at night or resisting robbers.
