FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Firefighters in Fort Lauderdale battled a mobile home fire Tuesday night, bringing the flames under control after a 20-minute effort. Investigators have since determined the fire was intentionally set and confirmed that an arrest has been made.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said crews responded just before 10:30 p.m. to the RV park along the 600 block of Southwest 27th Avenue, where they found the home fully engulfed.
No injuries were reported.
According to FLFR spokesman Frank Guzman, investigators treated the fire as an act of arson.
Fort Lauderdale police announced Wednesday afternoon that they arrested 58-year-old Richard Alan Gervasi in connection with the crime.
9 a.m. report:
Jail records show he is facing one count each of first-degree arson involving a dwelling or building with people present and a separate charge of second-degree arson.
As of Wednesday, Gervasi is being held without bond at the Broward Main Jail.
No other details about the incident were immediately released.
