According to authorities, 27-year-old Sulaiman Rockquan Malik was arrested for an incident that occurred Monday night at his residence in Miami Beach.
Police said the victim and a friend had met Malik and another man, both of whom were club promoters, several days earlier.
On the night of the incident, the four were traveling from one club to another when the men instead took them women to their home in Miami Beach, according to an arrest form.
While there, police said Malik performed sex acts on the victim despite her saying no, and it was when he appeared to be putting a condom on that she pretended to be sick and fled the room, calling a friend and asking them to call the police.
After investigators had the victim and her friend identify Malik, he was arrested on a felony sexual battery charge with no serious injury.
As of Thursday, he is being held on a $25,000 bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
