According to a Broward Sheriff’s Office arrest report, it appears that the suspect, Mark Andrew Galavotti, is the one who called police at around 8:30 Wednesday morning.
Deputies said they responded to his apartment building in the 600 block of Northwest Fifth Avenue and spoke with him.
Galavotti, who is also known by the alias “King Cobra,” told deputies that the girl “came over to his apartment doorway and began yelling at him,” calling him a “pedophile and child molester,” the report states.
He said the girl picked up a glass mug and threw it at him at which point he said he was calling the police, saying he wanted deputies to tell “her that she cannot act the way she did,” the report states.
But the girl, who is under 16, told deputies that Galavotti was the one behaving badly.
According to the report, she said Galavotti, who “has made inappropriate comments to her in the past, often referring to her body, calling her sexy and telling her to come over to where he is at,” saw her as he was sitting in a chair outside of his doorway.
Deputies said he looked at the girl and said, “Look what you gave me,” proceeding to lift up his shorts and expose his erect penis.
They said the victim turned around and told her mother what happened. Galavotti denied exposing himself to the girl.
Galavotti, who court records show has a history of arrests in Broward County dating back to 1987, is now facing a charge of lewd and lascivious exhibition in front of a victim under 16.
As of Friday morning, he was being held in the BSO Main Jail on a $15,000 bond.
