MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami Gardens police are investigating after a body was found in a canal Saturday morning.
Police responded to the scene, near Northwest 199th Street and Second Avenue, at around 8:45 a.m.
The body was covered in a yellow tarp when Local 10 News arrived.
Police are investigating the identity of the deceased and the circumstances leading to their presence in the water.
