MIAMI – Police in Miami arrested several individuals over the weekend in connection to the illegal entry to Ultra Music Festival.

Timothy and Carlton Tedford are each facing felony charges after undercover officers said they were observed selling Ultra wristbands to patrons near Biscayne Boulevard and Chopin Plaza.
According to police, after Carlton Tedford, 34, passed out the wristbands and the buyers put them on, Timothy Tedford, 37, escorted the group inside.
Once past the point of entry, police said Timothy Tedford then began collecting the wristbands back from the buyers.
The group was then approached by police and they scattered, authorities said.
Both Carlton and Timothy Tedford were taken into custody by uniformed officers.
Police also arrested 38-year-old Christophe Duckett on felony charges for allegedly selling fraudulent wristbands to Ultra.
According to police, an undercover detective was dispatched to the corner of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast Fourth Street where the victims said they bought two wristbands for $1,200 in cash.
The victims were denied entry and told the wristbands were fraudulent, so police said they returned to Duckett to get their money back.
Duckett told the victims they could only have $400 back “because he already gave the rest of the money away,” according to an arrest report.
That’s when the victims alerted police and identified Duckett, who made a statement to police that was redacted from his arrest form.
Police said after checking with an Ultra representative for verification, neither Carlton nor Timothy Tedford, nor Duckett, had authorization to conduct business for them in the city of Miami.
