Missing Child Alert activated for 2 teens from Homestead

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Authorities activated a Missing Child Alert for two juveniles from Miami-Dade County.

Police are searching for 14-year-olds Franklin Cruz and Xavier Pile-Kittle.

They were last seen in the area of the 32000 block of Northwest Third Avenue in Homestead.

Cruz is described as a white-Hispanic male, 5-foot-8, 150 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Pile-Kittle is described as a Black male, 6-foot-1, 160 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities said Cruz was last seen wearing a black and grey True Religion hoodie, black pants and black and grey Nike Air Max shoes while Pile-Kittle was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black Crocs.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts or who thinks they may have seen them is urged to call Homestead police at 305-247-1535 or the Florida Department of Law Enforcement at 1-888-356-4774.
