“It was pretty crazy, but to be honest with you the adrenaline was pumping,” said witness Bram Fiebelkorn.

9 a.m. report:

The chaotic wreck on the water was captured on camera.

It happened in the Eastern Shores community near Northeast 17th Street and 35th Avenue around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Video from a nearby home shows the small boat slamming into another boat that was docked along a canal before going nose up and then flipping over, all while neighbors looked on in shock.

The same video appears to show several people swimming towards the shore after getting tossed into the water.

Among those onboard, according to witnesses, were several children.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said all persons on board the boat were accounted for, and that one adult was hospitalized.

Another neighbor recoding video while standing behind his home that shows the same boat speeding and swerving to avoid another vessel before making a sharp turn and then crashing.

Bystanders rushed over to help.

“We were more focused on helping the folks who were in the water,” said Fiebelkorn. We saw a lot of folks that were just floating down the canal and we did everything we could to help them out.”

Authorities have yet to confirm any details about the circumstances that led up to the crash.
