Court documents made public Friday state that Eva Leonnie Livia Hollemart Padoin, 24, of Paris, tried to enter through doors marked “No Entry” leading into the secure area of Terminal 2 at around noon on Wednesday.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office arrest report states that a deputy responded after overhearing Transportation Security Administration officers shouting at Hollemart Padoin.

Authorities said she ignored their commands to stop and kept walking.

“Deputy (redacted) advised her to leave the area, but the defendant (Hollemart Padoin) repeatedly refused to comply,” the report states. “Deputy (redacted) then took physical control of the defendant’s bag and attempted to direct her out of the area. The defendant resisted by grabbing the bag back and again refusing to comply.”

According to BSO, Hollemart Padoin tried once again to go past the door.

“Deputy (redacted) re-engaged with her, explained that the area was not an entry point and attempted to escort her out,” the report states. “At that point, the defendant struck Deputy (redacted) in the face with her left hand and kicked her in the leg.”

After being informed that she was under arrest for trespassing in a secure area, Hollemart Padoin resisted and the deputy called for backup, the report states.

As the two deputies struggled to get Hollemart Padoin into custody, she bit the original deputy in her right thumb, “breaking the skin and causing immediate bleeding.”

It took “several minutes” to finally get her into custody, authorities said.

Deputies arrested her on charges of aggravated battery on an officer, resisting arrest with violence and trespassing on critical infrastructure.

She was being held on a $6,000 bond in BSO’s Paul Rein Detention Facility in Pompano Beach as of late Friday afternoon.
