MIAMI – A South Florida rescue group is making a big impact in the lives of forgotten animals.
Paw Patrol Animal Rescue, a nonprofit organization based in Miami, has saved and rehomed more than 1,400 animals since its founding. The group focuses on helping dogs and cats that are lost, abandoned or overlooked in crowded local shelters.
Among the animals currently up for adoption are Wally, a three-legged dog who lost his leg after suffering a shattered limb, and Cennelo, a talkative puppy who was found in a box and now charms everyone he meets.
Volunteers say they are dedicated to finding forever homes for animals who may otherwise be left behind.
