The mother said, “She had drank shots of Remy and had also drank Moscato when she got home ... fell asleep on the couch” and woke up to him on top of her, according to the police arrest report.

Police officers responded to an apartment in a two-story building near Northwest Second Avenue and 20 Street in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood, records show.

Thomas denied the allegations but the victim had a record of text messages that contradicted his statement, according to the arrest report.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 to remain anonymous.
