MIAMI – Miami police arrested a man at his apartment in the city’s Brickell neighborhood Wednesday after they accused him of possessing multiple child sexual abuse videos.

According to an arrest report from the Miami Police Department, police were tipped off to Brandon Alexander Cotton, 38, after he uploaded illicit videos to the file hosting service Dropbox.

Police said Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force officers executed a search warrant at his apartment at the Camden Brickell building at 50 SW 10th St. at around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said a search of an external hard drive showed videos, listed in graphic detail in the report, depicted young boys and girls ― some described as newborns ― being raped or otherwise sexually abused.

One of the videos contained the caption “You’re a pedophile,” according to the report.

Officers said they arrested Cotton “without incident” on 15 charges related to the possession of child sexual abuse material and took him to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where he remained as of Wednesday evening.

His bond was listed as “to be set” in Miami-Dade jail records.
