MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A 25-year-old Pompano Beach woman accused of drugging a man and stealing his Rolex watch and diamond bracelet after meeting him at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel last month has now been linked to a similar theft in Doral, authorities said.
Angelina Chenel Esty was taken into custody around 8:45 p.m. after investigators linked her to the April 21 theft using surveillance video, fingerprint evidence, and a positive identification by the victim, according to a Miami Beach police report.

The victim told police he met Esty in the hotel’s lobby around 4 a.m. after returning from a night out.
He said the two went up to his hotel room, where Esty offered him drinks, the report stated.
After imbibing, the man told MBPD that he eventually passed out.
When he awoke around 8 a.m., authorities said Esty was gone — along with his $20,000 Rolex Datejust and $10,000 diamond bracelet, which he had placed in his jacket pocket.
Surveillance footage captured Esty entering and leaving the room, and crime scene investigators recovered fingerprint evidence that matched her. Police said the victim also identified her in a photographic lineup.
While police were investigating the Fontainebleau case, Doral police contacted Miami Beach detectives to report Esty had recently been arrested for another grand theft case involving a stolen Rolex.
In that case, police say Esty used a similar approach — meeting a man in a public area, going to his room, and leaving with his high-end watch.
Police say Esty’s methods mirror those of other women recently charged with targeting men at upscale hotels and nightlife spots across Miami-Dade County.
Last week, 34-year-old Esther Torres was arrested in connection with several robberies, including one at the Fontainebleau in which a victim claimed he was sprayed with an unknown substance before having his 2020 Rolex Submariner stolen.
On Monday, police announced the arrest of 23-year-old Rachel Warner, who is accused in multiple cases of luring men at bars and nightclubs and later stealing their valuables.
The Miami Police Department said they’re also conducting an open investigation involving Esty and an unrelated case.
According to jail records, Esty faces a charge of second-degree grand theft involving between $20,000 and $100,000, as well as a charge of grand theft of an occupied dwelling linked to a previous case.
As of Tuesday, she was being held on $10,000 bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. She was also ordered to stay away from the victim."
