MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A man who cops said was once seen begging to be let out of a Corvette he broke into on South Beach is now in trouble again with Miami Beach police.

Ravesh Rabindranauth, 33, is now accused of randomly attacking a woman and a 13-year-old boy.

Authorities said it happened just before 9 a.m. Thursday in the area of 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.

An arrest report states that Rabindranauth walked up to a woman and “punched her in the face,” giving her cuts on both lips.

Police said he then walked up to a 13-year-old boy walking to the Fienberg Fisher K-8 Center and backhanded him across the cheek.

The report states that the teen then saw him grab a pole and hit a vehicle with it. An officer later testified in court Friday that he caused $5,000 in damage.

Officers located Rabindranauth, who is homeless, and arrested him on two counts of battery and one count of felony criminal mischief.

After being labeled a “danger to the community,” he was ordered held on a $75,000 bond.

Court records show that prosecutors dropped the Corvette burglary case against the New York City-born Rabindranauth in October.
