The suspect, identified as Hongmei Ye, 37, was taken into custody at QQ Spa, located at 8426 W. Oakland Park Blvd., according to Sunrise police.

Authorities said an undercover detective entered the business, where an employee brought him into a private room. Ye told the officer a massage would cost $50, and he paid $60 in department-issued funds, according to the report.

The report stated that Ye began massaging the detective’s back, legs, shoulders and neck for about 20 minutes. She then asked him to turn over and allegedly offered to perform a sex act for $50, oral sex for $100, and vaginal sex for $200.

The detective declined, and Ye completed the massage, authorities said. Once he left the room, officers entered the business and arrested Ye without incident.

Police said Ye later gave a confession which was redacted from the publicly-released report.

Sunrise Code Enforcement and the Florida Department of Health also responded to the spa and determined that neither the business nor Ye held a valid massage therapy license, which is required for anyone providing such services.

Jail records show Ye faces charges including engaging or offering to engage in prostitution, misrepresenting herself as a licensed masseuse and violating health and safety practices with a suspended or voided license.

As of Friday, she was being held on a $2,000 bond at the Broward Main Jail.
