MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A 53-year-old man was arrested Monday after he allegedly masturbated in front of a mother and her two children in Haulover Beach, authorities said.

According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the mother flagged down a lifeguard near Tower 17 and claimed that she and her children were on the shoreline when she saw the suspect removing his pants and then masturbating in front of her kids while making eye contact with them.
The woman said as she stood up and went to call the police, the suspect, later identified as John Fritzgerald Osorio, of North Miami Beach, pulled up his pants and ran away.
According to the report, the woman provided deputies with a description of the suspect and Osorio was located a short time later near Tower 16.
Deputies said a “show-up” was conducted and the mother identified Osorio as the man who masturbated in front of her children.
He was arrested on charges of engaging in a lewd act in the presence of a child and lewd and lascivious behavior.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Osorio remained at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $15,150 bond.
Jail records show he is also charged with probation violation and his bond for that charge is listed as “to be set.”
