COOPER CITY, Fla. ā Three men from Davie are facing various charges after deputies accused them of attacking an SUV driver on Griffin Road in Cooper City.

According to court documents obtained by Local 10 News on Thursday, David Blade, 18, Brayden Baxter, 23, and Justin Zeller, 18, are all facing charges in connection with Mondayās incident. Jail records show they were taken into custody on Tuesday.
According to an arrest report from the Broward Sheriffās Office, the victim was driving in the 12400 block of Griffin Road when the driver of a ālarge pickup truckā began flashing the truckās brights at him from behind.
Deputies said the victim told investigators that āthe truck pulled alongside the (driverās) side of his vehicle while stopped in traffic and a rear passenger threw water at him while yelling aggressively.ā
The report states a man later identified as Blade āexited the vehicle and intentionally brokeā the victimās driverās side mirror.
Blade is accused of reaching into the victimās vehicle and hitting him, then deputies said he āproceeded to open the (driverās) side door and forcefully remove (the victim) from the vehicle.ā
Baxter and Zeller then got out of the truck and joined Blade āin repeatedly punching and kickingā the victim, deputies said.
Deputies said the victim called the assault āunprovokedā and said an independent witness, who didnāt know anyone involved, corroborated the victimās account.
That witness, who was also stopped at the intersection of Griffin and Flamingo roads, said he heard the victim telling the men, āIām sorryā as the trio beat him, the report states.
Deputies would later arrest Blade on charges of burglary with assault or battery and criminal mischief, while Baxter and Zeller are each facing a battery charge.
None of the men remained jailed as of Thursday evening.
