KEY WEST, Fla. – Police in Key West asked for the public’s help Saturday in identifying a man suspected of burglarizing a mobile detailing van that they said was parked in Old Town early Saturday morning.

According to the Key West Police Department, surveillance video captured the suspect entering the van, looking around, and quickly exiting after spotting a camera.
Investigators said the man then stole the camera and fled the area on a black bicycle with a front basket.
The camera had been placed inside the van by the vehicle’s owner, who told police the van had been targeted multiple times in recent weeks, authorities said.
Police described the man as being between 20 and 30 years old, about 6 feet tall, with a medium build, thick curly hair, a thin mustache and chin hair.
They said that same individual has been seen on video attempting to burglarize other vehicles in the Whitmarsh Lane area and may be responsible for multiple recent vehicle break-ins in the neighborhood.
