FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Hundreds of thousands of fans joined the Florida Panthers for Sunday’s Stanley Cup parade.

Earlier this week, the Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers to become back-to-back Stanley Cup Champions.
Now, for a second straight year, the Panthers are being honored with a beachfront parade in Fort Lauderdale.

Fans began lining up for the parade early Sunday morning as the excitement has been building all week.
Local 10 News was there to cover every inch of the parade, which ran along A1A from Riomar Street to Southeast Fifth Street.
From there, the Panthers headed to a stage on the sand located across from Fort Lauderdale Beach Park.
The parade began at noon, and Local 10’s coverage kicked off at 11 a.m.
