Authorities in Florida say they’ve recovered more than 60 children in what U.S. Marshals call the largest child rescue operation in American history.
The children range in age from 9 to 17 years old.
Florida’s attorney general said they were reported missing, endangered or were being trafficked.
Officials say Operation Dragon Eye resulted in eight adults being charged with crimes ranging from human trafficking to child endangerment, along with drug charges.
The operation took place over two weeks and involved dozens of law enforcement officers from 20 different agencies.
Bonds for the suspects range up to $250 million.
