Anu Chen, 50, of Miami, is facing the most serious charges, including deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution, maintaining a house of prostitution and unlawful use of a communications device.

According to her arrest report, Chen has been a subject of interest in an ongoing human trafficking investigation into the Salsa Spa, located at 17630 S. Dixie Highway.

Deputies said Chen was detained Thursday during an undercover operation at the spa and provided a statement to detectives with assistance from a Mandarin translator.

That statement was redacted from the publicly released report, however deputies confirmed that the investigation revealed 216 commercial sex solicitation advertisements associated to Chen’s business, dating back to February, with the last being posted Thursday.

Deputies said Chen’s cellphone number was listed on the advertisements and she scheduled “commercial sex dates” via her phone.

Another woman, Jimei Yan, 39, of Miami, was also arrested Thursday at the same business after she allegedly offered to give an undercover detective a hand job for $100, authorities said.

She faces charges of engaging in prostitution, practicing massage without a license and practicing as a healthcare professional without a license.

A third woman, Li Liu, 45, of Miami, was arrested Thursday at the nearby Asian Massage, located at 17033 S. Dixie Highway.

According to her arrest report, Liu massaged an undercover detective’s back before instructing him to turn over, at which time she allegedly grabbed his penis.

The report states the detective asked Liu how much that would cost and she told him “$120 for a hand job while she gets naked.”

The detective then gave the “takedown signal” and Liu was arrested on charges of engaging in prostitution, practicing massage without a license and practicing as a healthcare professional without a license.

As of Friday afternoon, Chen was still being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $10,250 bond.

Jimei and Liu were no longer appearing in the online jail database.
