Duo accused of neglecting 3 dogs in Fort Lauderdale: Police

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Police officers recently rescued three dogs in Fort Lauderdale and accused a 41-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman of neglect.

According to the arrest reports, Frederick Pinkney and Destiny Bray kept three pit bulls named “Thor” “Lady” and “Pleasure” without food or water.

An officer reported “Thor” had superficial wounds; “Lady” was bony and shaky in a cage; and “Pleasure,” a 3-month-old puppy, was emaciated in a dirty kennel.

Records show police officers arrested Bray, 26, and Pinkney, who was out on bond for a traffic case involving a Jaguar, on Friday.

Bray and Pinkney each faced six misdemeanor charges: Three counts of impounding or confining an animal without providing adequate food, water, and care; and three counts of torment, deprive, and mutilate.
