SOUTH MIAMI, Fla. – A man accused of threatening to shoot a security guard at the door of a strip club was behind bars on Monday in Miami-Dade County, records show.

A South Miami police officer arrested William Reed on Sunday over the alleged crime on Jan. 21, at BT’s Gentlemen’s Club, at 5922 South Dixie Highway.
After Reed, 32, was kicked out of the strip club, he got into a scuffle with a security guard who wasn’t allowing him back in, according to the police report.
“Reed then retrieved a firearm from his person and pointed it at [the security guard],” the officer wrote, according to the police arrest report.
South Miami police officers searched until Sunday when they found him near Southwest 68 Street and 59 Place, according to the police report.
Reed appeared in Miami-Dade County court on Monday facing a charge of aggravated battery with a firearm. A judge set his bond at $7,500.
