According to an arrest report obtained Monday by Local 10 News, Leonard Collin Bondieumaitre, of Miami, was arrested Friday on charges of armed robbery, attempted murder and aggravated battery with a weapon.

Miami police said the incident occurred June 9 in the 1600 block of Northwest Seventh Avenue.

According to the report, the victim had received $5 worth of crack cocaine from Bondieumaitre, who he knows as “Luger,” about five days before the attack.

The victim told police that after he was given the drugs, he was hospitalized for about four days and was confronted by Bondieumaitre after he was discharged and was hanging around the Camillus House area.

Police said Bondieumaitre demanded his money from the victim, along with $95 in interest, and told the victim he would hurt him if he didn’t comply.

According to the report, the victim told Bondieumaitre that his check had not yet been deposited in his account, so he needed more time.

Police said the victim then ran away, hiding in an empty parking lot adjacent to Camillus House on Northwest 17th Street.

The victim told police that someone must have “snitched” as Bondieumaitre found him and began to punch and kick him.

According to the report, Bondieumaitre then pulled out a folding knife and slashed the victim’s left arm.

The victim then ran westbound on 17th Street toward Northwest Sixth Avenue.

Police said the victim identified Bondieumaitre as his attacker in a photo lineup on June 11.

After being taken into custody Friday, Bondieumaitre denied having any involvement in the incident, the report stated.

As of Monday morning, Bondieumaitre was being held at the Miami-Dade County Pre-Trial Detention Center without bond.
