MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man was hospitalized Thursday night after he was allegedly beaten and robbed by a group of individuals in northwest Miami-Dade, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they were called to the area of 2700 Northwest 79th Street, near the County’s Gladeview area, around 10:40 p.m. in response to a reported robbery.
Upon arrival, deputies said they found a man suffering from injuries to his upper body.
According to investigators, the victim told deputies he had been in a fight with three unknown males and one unknown female, who then took items from him during the struggle.
Authorities said Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. His age, identity or condition was not immediately released.
Detectives said no arrests have been made and no further information was available as of Friday morning.
