HOMESTEAD, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert Tuesday morning for a boy and girl from Homestead.
According to the FDLE, Devin Mitchell Jr., 10, and Ivy Mitchell, 6, have been missing since Monday.
Police said Ivy was last seen wearing a white dress and Devin was last seen wearing a black shirt and black and white pants.
They were last seen in the 12800 block of Southwest 242nd Street in Homestead.
According to police, Ivy is 4 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Devin is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs about 190 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Police did not immediately say whether they believe the children left home on their own.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office at 305-596-8176.
